This digital TV converter box picture quality is still a large improvement over analog TV. There are minor flaws in the picture when watching TV in HD. The sound quality for this converter box is very good. It rates near the top with the best converter boxes. All in all most of the digital TV converter boxes we have looked at rate really well for sound quality. This converter box sells for around $50. This box is sold out at most retailers.
This digital TV converter box comes with an above average programming guide that gives you a shows run time and description along with the same information for upcoming shows. One unique feature that this converter box has is auto aspect ratio. It has been rare to find digital converter boxes that come with function. This TV converter box comes with a scan for all function, individual channel tuning, and an on screen signal strength meter. Finally, this digital to analog TV converter comes with adjustable closed captioning. This converter box does not come analog pass-through.
This converter box is fairly good It comes with a very good range of features but is missing the most important one, analog pass-through. Although this box will get the job done we don't recommend it because its missing the pass-through feature.
