Today I was amazed my download speed doubled!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! For more information read my previous post at this link.
I read local english newspaper that said LinkdotNet and Tedata agreed to double speed for all customers now on board and to offer the same to new subscribers.
I can confirm it works, as when downloading a movie with utorrent ,the speed was magically 400Kbs as opposed to 200 Kbs before. I have a 2 Meg line. Wow - thanks for Egypt joining the world as competative ISP's
How to check your speed? Well you can use all the speed sites on the net, but best is to download openoffice.org as the fastest download site in world ,and maybe you should consider to use the open source progam that I think is better than microsoft office. YOu don't have to download whole program but leave it about 3 minutes to settle in. If you have 512K line then speed should now be around 100Kbs, 1 Meg 200 Kbs, mine at 2 meg 400 Kbs
