I was a bit taken back many moons ago when Nasha told me an expat was selling all his wood working equipment (table saws, routers, all other paraphernalia) and she wanted to buy it. That was the beginning.
She started with making trinkets and things like serving trays (still very popular). Later an expat asked if she could make a custom wood bar with marble top, stools, lights, wine rack etc. They designed together and it turned out great. That was her graduation. Since then has expanded to many more bars (word of mouth advertising is a good sign of job well done). And her repertoire now includes many other household items at prices I think are too cheap. But then that's greedy me. When she is really busy (which seems more often than not) dad prepares Kids supper. They don't mind with my home cooked variety of McDonald's and Pizza Hut. Because of this she does not miss preparing many meals - this is my Homer Simpson trick.
She built quite few of tables and chairs for ACE club which get well used. Had to advise ACE club manager that repair warranty expired as they had exceeded to 5,000 beer limit of usage. It's the high back stools and tables on left side in pic below
