These changes affect most Spanish TV reception across Spain and is part of Phase 2 of the digital switch over in Spain.
All channels on frequency / multiplex 66 have been moved and transferred over to new frequencies.
This has affected the following Spanish digital TV channels:

CNN+ on TDT closed down and no longer available
On December 30th 2011, CNN+, the Spanish version of the worldwide CNN News channels ceased transmissions yesterday.
On TDT in Spain, it has been replaced by a Telecinco channels, currently showing Gran Hermano - Spanish Big Brother!
This is the result of agreements bvetween Time Warner (CNN owners), Prisa and Mediaset, the latter two owning an operating the TDT slot where CNN+ was.

Sony SET TV on TDT gone - replaced by AXN
Sony Entertainment TV, or SET, has been replaced by AXN on Spains TDT service.
If you try to view SET on TDT then you will either get a Channel Scrambled message, or just a blank screen.
The Sony SET channel has been replaced by AXN.
This is a subscription only channel on TDT.
You need a viewing card and subscription to view AXN.

In total, during this period of time, Industry received 86 985 calls, of which 47 739 were treated by agents. Of that number, 88.1% were

Spanish TV Analogue Switch off - 31 December 2009
Phase 2 of Spains analogue TV Services switchoff will happen on the 31st December 2009.
Most of Spain is covered by Phase 2, with some areas alrdady being a digital only area from earlier this year, and the remaining areas having their analogue services switched off by April 2010.
If you wish to continue receiving Spanish TV, then you will need to go DIGITAL.

Many UK Freeview boxes do work in Spain, but there are a few issues and they may not work 100%
Obviously the first thing is that a UK Freeview box will not be able to receive the UK Freeview channels whewn used in Spain, as the nearest transmitter of Freeview is based on Cornwall! It will be able to be used to receive the Spansih Digital television
